Jinan Yinquan Technology, one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (News - Alert), announced that it has signed an additional virtualization contract with Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument.
This contract is a new project requested by Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument to support the virtualization contract signed in April. Yinquan will provide Shandong Xinhua with desktop virtualization solutions and equipment for this new project.
The company is currently marketing its integral virtualization solutions and services in China and at this time is in the testing stages of other Information Technology products.
Desktop virtualization separates a personal desktop computer from the physical machine through a client-server computing model. The resulting "virtualized" desktop is stored on a remote central server, instead of on the local storage of a remote client. When users work from their remote desktops, all the programs, applications, processes, and data are maintained and run centrally, the company explained.
Virtualization enables users to reduce costs, increase security and facilitate management, achieving higher energy-savings, lower emissions and more environmentally-friendly goals.
Today's powerful x86 computer hardware was originally designed to run only a single operating system and a single application, but virtualization breaks that boundary, making it possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the utilization and flexibility of hardware.
The company officials said the additional contract from Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument shows the client's confidence in company’s products and services. “We are very glad that they selected Yinquan as their complete virtualization solutions provider,” Li Kunwu, president and CEO of China VoIP, said. “Through our continuing sales and promotions efforts, we also see potential for increased demands from other existing customers.”
Kunwu says there are growth prospects throughout China's virtualization market. “Our strategic marketing is focused on creating a thriving business model, and it's equally gratifying to know that our company is improving the environment, while assisting with China's overall economy.”
China VoIP & Digital Telecom offers virtualization technology application in the People's Republic of China through its wholly owned subsidiary Jinan Yinquan Technology and Beijing PowerUnique Technologies.
Earlier in May, Jinan Yinquan Technology announced it successfully completed the implementation of Wendeng Central Hospital’s Datacenter Virtualization Project, TMCnetreported.
