微软在不少活动上都说，着重 3D 内容和游戏直播的 Windows Creators Update，将会在 2017 年初上市，但一直不肯透露确切时间。根据 MSPoweruser掌握到的消息，微软的 Windows 10 更新版本，Creators Update 将在今年 4 月时上市。
先前有关 Windows Creators Update 的传言都说 2017 年 3 月的时候会推出，但 MSPoweruser 说是 4 月时推出。而 Windows Creators Update 的代号是 Redstone 2，版本号将会是 1704，17 代表 2017 年，而 04 是 4 月份的意思，意味着先前依据 3 月上市的猜测 1703 版本号也改掉。
Windows Creators Update 预计在 1 月中下冻结功能，意味着上市时的功能差不多决定了。当代号 Redstone 2 的 Creators Update 推出后，微软也将开始着手进行代表 Redstone 3 的新版本，可能在年底时上市。
