China Mobile reportedly has completed the TD-LTE field test in Chengdu Sichuan province of China. The test contents include throughput, mobility, converage,multi-user scheduling, user experience and many other parts. The results are understood to be as good as excepted.
According to GSA, 51 operators from 24 countries and regions around the world have clearly announced their LTE business strategy at the very beginning of December 2009.At the same time, a large number of other operators have started LTE testing projects, which shows the LTE industry chain was becoming mature.
This test was accomplished by China Mobile and Huawei, a leading telecom vendor located in Shenzhen, China,and the test results are expected to play an important role on the next phase of TD-LTE Industry development.
According to Current Analysis’ study,Huawei has deployed 42 LTE networks all over the world by the end of 2009,of which 5 LTE networks were commercially available, which marked Huawei as the NO.1 in LTE domain.(Paul)
