China Telecom on 22 Feburary, signed a cooperation agreement with Baosteel to improve interoperability between telecom and steel industry.
According to the cooperation agreement, the companies will give priority for both product purchasing. The companies will cooperate in voice, data, wireless,video conference and VPN fields, and plan to apply emerging technologies such as wireless communication and Internet-of-Things to manufacture factories. Besides, they expect to develop a globle trading e-business system, 3G steel logistics management system and steel enterprises' VoIP system.
Meanwhile, China Telecom will take Baosteel as first priority in its infrastructure product purchasing. (By Alice He)
