The first call center industry platform, Shanghai Call Center Industry Base phase-1 project, Hai-bao Demonstration Park, will soon unveil the veil of mystery and officially open up before the opening of the Shanghai World Expo.
Shanghai Call Center Industry Base Hai bao demonstration park is based on the original of Shanghai Hai-bao Glass company, located in the junction of Hutai Road and the A20 (Outer Ring) line. The park will be equipped with a direct bus to the nearest subway stop.
As per available information, the planned construction area of Hai bao demonstration park is 12,000 square meters, and the area of buildings is 100,000 square meters. The construction of Hai-bao demonstration park was divided into two phases, and the phase-1 project of 30,000 square meters area has been completed.
According to a report, the presently rent here is only 1/10 that of Class A office space in the downtown. Although the park has not yet been officially opened, it has rented out an area of 10,000 square meters; the occupancy rate is more than 40%.
What’s more, the nation’s three oprators, China Telecom, China Unicom and China Mobile have agreed to jointly build a 1,000 seat call center agent in the park, which will be completed in the near future. (Paul)
