Dialogic Prepared for China 3G Video Applications

“3G video applications in 2010 will be increased significantly”, Eamonn Kearns, vice president of Dialogic Corporation, said at an interactive video business display held by Dialogic in Beijing on November 24.

Dialogic is a provider of world-class multimedia and signaling technologies and platforms.

Kearns believes that the 2009 is the construction phase of 3G (The Third Generation) in China, and in 2010, as 3G customers continues to grow rapidly, services based on 3G video applications will surge.

Kearns said that Dialogic is fully prepared to catch this chance.

It is worth mentioning here that Chinese 3 mobile operators have put in large amount of money on 3G infrastructure deployment.

Reports said the total investment has reached $96.1 billion, now it’s time for vendors and service providers to tap this huge market.

Giving details about Dialogic, officials said that In March 2008 Dialogic acquired OpenMediaLabs company. Since then the company has done a sufficient research in the development of next-generation IP video applications. At the same time, Dialogic has also established a research department "Dialogic Media Laboratory ", mainly for continuing study of video algorithms.

Later, Dialogic acquired NMS Communications' platform business to support its mobile communication in the value-added services tool.

In order to meet China's 3G application status, Dialogic raised the slogan of “Video is the news voice” in 2009.  It is clear that the company will expand the video services market with its technological advantages.
