Ericsson will Launch 4G Technology in China

It is reported that China mobile is more active than other two Chinese operators in LTE evolution. Due to the lose in the game of China Mobile 3G device bid, international vendors are more active to urge China mobile going into 4G technology.

Although, 4G standard won’t be defined by ITU untill year 2014, but all vendors agree that LTE will be the further trend of 4G technology. In the Ericsson’s roadshow site shows that LTE/EPC (FDD and TDD) technology is quite mature, of which LTE FDD downstream peak rate up to 150Mbps and upstream peak rate up to 40 Mbps, while TDD downstream peak rate achieved 100 Mbps. It is said that Ericsson has accomplished over 60 times worldwide IMS layout and it’s next station is China. (Translated by Alice He)
