Datang Telecom Group and Shanghai Pudong New Area Government reportedly have signed a cooperation agreement.
Officials said that Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Holdings Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Datang Telecom Group, will cooperate with Golden Bridge Stock to invest and construct a “Datang Shanghai Industrial Park” in the area.
Datang Telecom Group's decision to invest in the building of "DTang Shanghai Industrial Park," in the Pudong New Area, focuses on promoting the interaction of integrated circuit chips designing and manufacturing, expediting the implementation of nation’s two key laboratories-the Wireless Mobile Communications Laboratory and The Next Generation Wireless Mobile Communication System Engineering.
At the same time, this is expected to speed up the construction of wireless mobile communications, integrated circuit design and emergency communications bases.
Pudong New Area government will support Datang Telecom Group and its partner enterprises, as part supporting of TD-SCDMA industry and the interactive development of integrated circuit projects.
