Sources in China Telecom have told reporter of NexCom Online that the BlackBerry service would be only available for China Telecom's Group customers at beginning, individuals however will have to wait for some more time.
After iPhone was introduced by China Unicom, China Telecom introduced RIM’s BlackBerry after several months, now there are four service plans for China Telecom’s BlackBerry Group users and users need to pay CNY 189,289,389 and 589 per month respectively.
At the very beginning, the version of BlackBerry 9530,9550 and 9630 will be sold to users with any one service of last four plans. But because of those features such as text messages in Chinese are still being improved, so the official launch date is yet to be determined.
Except the mentioned four plans, BlackBerry users can also select other monthly plans provided by China Telecom.(Paul)
