The Internet of Things Base Located in Wuxi&n

China MIIT(Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) reportedly approved has approved a project relating to The Internet of Things based in Wuxi,Jiangsu province.

The Internet of Things refers to combine a variety of information sensing devices, such as radio frequency identification (RFID) devices, infrared sensors, global positioning systems, laser scanners and various other devices to form a huge network. Since the key players of this network are things rather than people, so it’s called the Internet of Things.

The planning of the Wuxi base for the Internet of Things reportedly is already completed, among which the "Feel China" center was planned to take a total area of approximately 10.8 square kilometers, including the sensor network innovation park, industrial park of the sensor network, sensor network for Information services park, and so on.

The Internet of Things is considered important by China MIIT. It’s a key project of China’s “Feel China”strategy.(Paul)
