China Mobile's Beijing branch has launched a new MNS (Multi-Number Service) for a single SIM card this week. While using this new service, China Mobile's users in Beijing region will be able to integrate four different phone numbers into one single SIM card. It's very convenient to people who have busy lines or want to have multiple numbers to give to different people.
China Mobile's customer service staff told local media that users can combine three additional numbers to their existing SIM cards and they can choose any of these four numbers to make calls or send messages. At the same time, calls dialed to any of the four numbers and messages sent to any of the numbers can be received with a single phone.
Just like any other province, China Mobile's Beijing branch holds various brands, including M-zone,Gotone, and Easyown, all are available for this new MNS and each additional number will cost an additional RMB 15 each month.
Before the launch of this service,Chinese mobile phone users who needed multiple numbers usually used dual-mode mobile phones(combine 2 numbers) or instead had to carry more than one mobile phones in their pocket.(Paul)
