我之前发表过文章，展望了云计算未来发展的关键趋势。但近期云计算会有哪些发展动向呢？以下几点是我对云计算明年发展的预期。

云计算储存的数据大幅增加。我曾说过，2013年将会是“云数据年”，而现在我仍坚持这个观点。那2012年呢？如今许多企业面临着数据方面的问题，而新的数据技术如Hadoop及其它基于云计算的数据库系统不断涌现。2012年，云数据的发展空间将进一步扩大，并在2013年达到一个高峰。

“消费云”进一步发展。“消费云”也被称为“零售云”，具有代表性的有iCloud, Box.net, Dropbox, Office 365以及Google Apps等，它们兼具便捷、便宜的优势，在2012年将继续成为用户云消费的重要部分。

OpenStack发展方向尚不明朗。OpenStack是既是一个开源平台，又是一个产品，还是一项服务。那它究竟是什么呢？我对OpenStack明年的发展寄予很大希望。大量的新产品将依托OpenStack构建，更多的公司将选择它作为自己的云计算平台。不过OpenStack还是会使很多人迷惑。或许,到2013年，人们会对它有更好的理解。

一些曾经重要的技术或服务会消失，但并不会引起太大关注。我之前预测过几项会在今年消失的云服务，而且都应验了。但云计算仍在发展，而且仍将发展。我认为今年更多的云服务会终止运行。媒体或许会为此抓狂，但人们仍会使用云计算处理数据、开发程序，云计算仍将继续发展。

I've already voiced my take on the key trends shaping the future of cloud computing. But what should you expect in the near term? Here's what I think will happen in cloud computing next year.

Rapid rise of data living in the cloud. I've called 2013 the year of data in the cloud, and I stand behind that. What about 2012? Consider the data problems faced by most enterprises, as well as the availability of newer technology such as Hadoop and cloud-based relational database systems. We will see this space explode next year, and the momentum will hit in 2013.

The rise of the "consumer cloud." Also called "retail clouds," offerings such as iCloud, Box.net, Dropbox, Office 365, and Google Apps will dominate much of the spending in 2012 as the at-home market finds that cloud computing is both convenient and cheap.

OpenStack becomes more confusing. It's an open source platform, it's a product, it's a service engagement. What is it? I have high hopes for the OpenStack technology next year. Numerous new products will be based upon OpenStack, and companies will embrace OpenStack as their cloud platform of choice. However, OpenStack will leave many people confused. By 2013, the technology will be better understood.

A few more big outages, but nobody w ccur。 However, cloud computing grew and continues to grow. I suspect we'll have more big outages this coming year. The press will go nuts, but data and processes will remain in the cloud and the growth will proceed.
